I think this is ok as a drawing for building, but notice that nowhere do the modules register at least in plan, so they are just operating like apertures. There seems to be a little more potential in section but even there it isn't registering as it should. the other thing is that i think some of this volume should be open at the top. in fact, one thing about mosques and the history, is that they don't actually need to be buildings. there just needs to be a designated space, and in their earlier manifestations, just a walled area. i also think you might elevate some of the areas off the ground and let the modular/combinatorial elements act as structure. This is not essential. But it might be worth investigating. And then there is the tradition of geometry and ornamentation and screens in arabic/islamic architecture
